About the Symposium

The Inflammation and Infection course is a comprehensive educational program designed to provide ophthalmologists specialised in medical retina and general ophthalmology with an in-depth understanding of uveitis.

This course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose, manage, and treat all types of uveitis effectively, with a specific focus on its inflammatory and infectious aspects.

By the end of the course, participants will have gained a comprehensive understanding of uveitis, enabling them to provide improved care to patients suffering from this condition.

The course combines theory in the form of talks and then this knowledge is applied in real case scenarios, thereby ensuring attendants are well-equipped to diagnose, manage, and treat uveitis confidently and effectively, ultimately contributing to better patient outcomes and vision preservation.
