About the Symposium
The Glaucoma Insights @ St Eriks symposium is a comprehensive educational meeting designed for ophthalmologists and clinicians with an interest in glaucoma and modern ophthalmic care.
Over two days, the programme will cover glaucoma pathophysiology, normal tension glaucoma, medical treatment, lasers, structural and functional diagnostics, angle closure disease, surgery, and challenging treatment decisions in daily practice.
The course also highlights broader perspectives in glaucoma care, including quality of life, virtual clinics, screening strategies, and the future role of artificial intelligence in clinical ophthalmology.
The symposium aims to combine scientific depth with practical clinical relevance. Through expert-led talks, focused discussions, and case-based reflection, participants will gain updated knowledge and new perspectives on how to diagnose, monitor, and treat glaucoma patients in a rapidly developing field.
By the end of the course, attendees will have strengthened their understanding of both established principles and new developments in glaucoma care, helping them navigate complex decision-making and provide better patient-centred treatment.
